About Marilyn:
Marilyn is a Luso-Canadian writer whose work is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Toronto Arts Council.
Her work has appeared in various print and online journals, and has been recognized on The Bath Short Story Award Longlist and nominated for The Best of the Net.
She has been awarded residencies at the DISQUIET International Literary Program, The Hambidge Center, The Pelee Island Book House, and Noepe Center for Literary Arts.
Marilyn is also a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, the Playwright’s Guild of Canada, and the Writers’ Union of Canada.
She earned her Honours B.A. in History and Sociology from the University of Toronto and M.F.A. in Creative Writing from The University of Tampa.
